NOVA Alert

Register for NOVA Alert and receive emergency information from NVCC. Read the letter below from President Templin for more information:
Dear NOVA Students, Faculty and Staff:

A new academic year at NOVA is now upon us, and I certainly hope this will be an exciting and successful year for all of you. Your safety is extremely important. Therefore, we have implemented NOVA Alert, a new emergency alert system that will send text messages to your cell phone and to your personal email addresses. This will let us communicate with you during times when timely and accurate information is vital. To be part of NOVA Alert, you must register for it!

You can find out more about NOVA Alert and register for it by going to http://alert.nvcc.edu, or text the keyword “NOVA” to 411911 from your cell phone. (You do not need to register your college student or faculty/staff email address—we will automatically send to that address.)

Sincerely,
Robert G. Templin
President
