"German experts crack Mona Lisa smile"

For centuries scholars and art historians have disputed whether the model of the famous painting “Mona Lisa” by Leonardo da Vinci was his lover, the wife of a wealthy merchant, or even himself. Library Computers Log-In

Due to security measures, it is required that all students must log into the library computers using their LAN username and password. This is different from the NovaConnect username and password.

Don't know your LAN username? Click here and enter your SSN or EmplID number. Your password will be the two digit month of your birthday, the two digit day of your birthday, and the last four digits of your SSN or the four digit year of your birth.

Happy Halloween!!!

Wired Laptop Area Available

Do you have trouble connecting to the NOVA wireless internet?

10 study carrels are now available for wired connectivity. They are located along the back wall of the circulating stacks, across from sections T - TS. There are not printing capabilities, but you can research, study, or google to your hearts content. We do request that this area continue to be a quiet study area. Please remember to use headphones and quiet your cellphones.

Proceeds are given to the NVCC Educational Foundation for student scholarships.

"Pay Cash" Print Option Cancelled

Effective, Friday, September 28th, the Pay Cash print option is no longer available in the library. Please print using your NOVACARD Student ID or a Guest Card.


Add money to your NOVACARD or Guest Card using the CSVT Machine in the library or in the cafeteria.

Copies are $.10 a page with your NOVACARD and $.20 a page with a Guest Card.
